Networking Activities

One of the primary purposes of the Summit is to create meaningful connections among our attendees. One way we do that is an afternoon of networking activities that allow participants to spend time connecting outside of the meeting room.

Choose an activity:

Each year, we give back to the community hosting our event by coordinating an optional volunteer activity. This year's volunteer activity will take place starting at Noon on Monday, April 23.  Attendees will go to The Cafe at Thistle Farms' education room where they will work with the Executive Chef to educate a group from N.I.C.E on nutritional, economic meals. Then, while the N.I.C.E. group eats, attendees will prepare reusable grocery bags of fresh ingredients for the N.I.C.E. group to take home.

Thistle Farms' missions is to heal, empower and employ woman survivors of trafficking, prostitution and addition. They do this by providing safe and supportive housing, opportunity for economic independence and a strong community of advocates and partners. Nashville International Center for Empowerment (N.I.C.E.)'s mission is to ensure refugees and immigrants achieve their full potential now and for generations to come by providing sustainable service programs, resource centers, and network partnerships in Middle Tennessee and across the country for equal employment opportunities that empower refugees and immigrants.
